A walk through the graveyard

When I walked through the graveyard, what did I see?
Imagine two lonely spirits, looking right back at me.
The first stepped forward, and asked me what would I be?
Before I could speak
Her eyes starred with intrigue
"Ninos" she asked, is it you standing so free?
Her image so pure, and almost marquee
Two angels shining, from the willow green tree

"You look like an angel", is all I could say
I have seen you before, even before this today
In a dream on the streets, on my knees as I prayed
Or maybe in the dark, in a place far far away

Her eyes closed then reopened

Story of the World

If I could write the story of the world
In just one line
From beginning to end
But only for one time
Using words never spoken
Yet perfectly aligned
Something so innocent & so pure
Nothing less than divine
What would that make me?

And what if I told you everything I am
Was inspired by god, a heavenly design
Touched yet still untouchable
Protected by a incorruptible shrine
3 rings, 3 chains, and three bands
3 added to 3 twice, making a total of nine
Lost 2 chains, 2 rings, and 2 bands
Keep my essence in my heart, forever mine
Or forever hers
That is something yet to be defined
So as each day passes by
I wonder in the past yet live in the present
With one question left on my mind
Do you, yes, do you believe in signs?

And if you do, what does that make you?
A princess? And me a toad?
Or something a bit more taboo
Maybe the devil and an angel
Or Brazil and Peru
Maybe I’m an angel without wings
Something you never knew
Maybe the devil inside fire
It’s not for me, but for you to decided which is true
But no matter which one you pick
Just remember, as sure as the sky is blue
Baby, G, I will forever love you.

Time

Stephen King once wrote "Time takes it all whether you want it to or not, time takes it all. Time bares it away, and in the end there is only darkness. Sometimes we find others in that darkness, and sometimes we lose them there again."

Time... An abstract concept which is involved in every aspect of our lives. Beginning the day we a born, and not ending till the day we pass into the light. something so perfect that it can heal all wounds, but at the same time once it is lost, it is lost forever. If man could control time, he could control life as we know it.. But he cannot, time is uncontrollable, and beyond the limits of human beings. It is time which binds man, which makes him grow old, and ultimalty leaves him all alone.

If I could live my life through just one moment in time... I would live it like this...

Angels Die Young (Anita Tyadors, 21)

These are hard times we are living in:

It feels like every time I turn on the tv or read a newspaper, there is more bad news. My brothers murdered, my sisters brutalized and raped, my children's innocence lost, and my parents a witness to it all. A witness to pure evil, hate, and destruction. The decimation of a nation, a people, a history, and a future...

And people have the audacity to criticize me for not having hope, not having patience, and not visualizing past this time in the history of Assyria. How can I bypass my lifetime to live in that of future generations? All I can say to these people is, you go read the story of the brutal murder of my sister Anita Tyadors in Nineveh, Assyria, and ask yourself one question; "Was she just another causality”? You think about that… She had a heart and a soul just like you, hopes and dreams just like you, and family she loved just like you… She will never be able to wrap her arms around anyone ever again, at least not here....

You keep thinking about you, while I dedicated this moment to Anita Tyadors…

As long as we have one ounce of breath in our lungs, I promise you we will make you proud of us. Your dreams will be lived out through us... And trust me when I tell you your death was not in vain, because we are stronger now with you in heaven looking down upon us. And we will keep you alive not with our words, but with our actions and in our hearts... eternally. They may be able to take you away from this earth, but all that means is that they gave you your wings. Something, we all hope we will recieve on day.. Fly high and fly free!

All I ask is for you to watch over us, be our sun when we see nothing but clouds, be our companion when we are alone, and be our light when all else is dark...

"For every thing I touch you touch"
"For every breath I breathe you breathe"
"Every step I take you take"
"Every poem I write you write"
"Every soul I touch you touch"

We all have to make it to the heaven one day; you just made it there a little quicker.

See you at the crossroads...

IraqOCV

The Iraq Out-of-country-voting (OCV) has not only placed voting station in areas with a sparse population of Iraqis (ie. Nashville) while not placing them in high concentration areas of Iraqis (ie. San Diego and Central Valley), but has also setup its phone system to handle only kurdish and arab languages.

While the kurds make-up less than 15% of the total population of Iraq, most of whom were not legal citizens to the country and who not natives of Iraq but wandering nomads from the mountains of Iran, they have seen almost 100% control of Iraq voting inside and outside of Iraq.

This being said, the indigenous Assyrians of Iraq, who have a history of more than 6000 years and who make up no less than 10% of the Iraqi population living in Iraq and more than 75% of the total Iraqi population in the Diaspora have had almost no help...

Why is this so when the Assyrian population outside Iraq number over one million, while the kurdish population runs up to a mere thousands?

Why does the IraqOCV not recognize the Assyrian language and the Assyrian people?

Is it because the land the makes up present-day Iraq is the property of the Assyrian people, or is it because the Iraq ocv are a bunch of racists and bigots?

Either way, it seems the new Iraq has begun where the old Iraq left off... Ethnic cleansing of the indigenous Assyrian minority of Iraq.

You be the judge...

Indigenous Assyrians

The indigenous Assyrians of Iraq make up no less than 10 percent of the total population of Iraq and thus for every 100 representatives, the Assyrians should be granted no less than 10. However, since a majority of Iraq's who were forced out of Iraq since 1932 are indeed Assyrian, this 10 percent rises to no less than 15 percent Assyrian out of the total Iraqi population.
If the Iraqi government does not give the Assyrians adequate representation, the Assyrians should be given autonomy in their ancestral homeland partially bounded by Northern Iraq and granted the state of Assyria under international accord.

King Faisal

The breakup of the Ottoman Empire and the ultimate establishment of an Iraqi state between the Tigres and Euphrates rivers has led to the ethnic genocide of the indigenous peoples of the land, the Assyrians. King Faisal, a Saudi-born prince, was placed on the thrown of Iraq in 1932 by the British Government. This pro-Arab and anti-Assyrian policy orchestrated by the British to control the "nation of Iraq" and betray the indigenous Assyrian population.

The Legend of Samara

There was a shopkeeper tending to his shop on the crowded streets of Baghdad. After finishing a sale, he looked up only to see the vision of death walking towards him. Immediatly, he jumped on his horse and rode north 50 miles to his vacation house in the city of Samara; thinking he had escaped death. Later that night, there was a knock at the door; when the man answered it he was shocked to see death standing directly in front of him.

"How did you find me?", asked the man.

"I was amazed to see you in the marketplace in Baghdad this morning, because I knew we had a date at night in Samara", replied Death.

"You can't escape fate."

To be finished

They say the devil’s only friend is fire
I say his words are filled with a fierce desire
Seductively sung as if by a perfectly orchestrated choir
Preying on the weak, the hopeless and the tired
His taste terribly addictive, yet nothing of acquired
While it seemed it was he, it was you I’ve always admired
It was you I admired most, my red white and blue sapphire
I know I have so much more in my heart
But only one thing left to say
Baby, G, _._._._. come take me higher
Because it’s not a dream I require
Honestly it is you I truly desire

“to be finished”

Love is Blind

They say that love is blind, and endless in time!
It's something that can't be seen and can't be touched
Something so pure
Like a newborn baby opening his eyes for the first time
Everlasting
Like a fire that will never burn out
Something so perfect
That the one you love, will haunt you thru time

I have come a long way

I have come a long way
I have come a long way
Once down on my knees
Now something so great
The blood of a king
And heart of a snake
I have come a long way
What more can I say
I have come a long way
I have come a long way

It seems everything has changed
From the path I once came
The innocence of life
The darkness of fate
Freedom from fear
And Freedom from hate
The past is the past
The present, today
The future a dream
A reality of faith

I have come a long way
I have come a long way
Once down on my knees
Now something so great
The blood of a king
And heart of a snake
I have come a long way
What more can I say
I have come a long way
I have come a long way
